We wanted abstract oil paintings in our 3-bedroom holiday villa but didn’t really know where to begin. Our idea was to have ocean and beach-inspired abstracts to match the villa’s relaxed vibe. We wanted one or two oil paintings of the ocean in the early morning, capturing peaceful waves under a pastel sky, evoking our memories of a special vacation. We envisioned two paintings side by side, like a mirror image but not with identical compositions. We could not find any suitable paintings anywhere in shops or online, and then Artflux was recommended to us. Wow ! The whole process and experience with ArtFlux was incredible. We wanted something special to remember our two cats, one of which recently passed away. We sent a favorite photo of our cats to ArtFlux, and added notes that we did not wanted the painting with a subtle impressionism. Also we wanted the smaller cat more to her true gray color ( we provided a separate photo ) as the gray is obscured by the shadows. ArtFlux created some impressive mock ups, and we instantly connected with a mock up showing the soft, expressive quality we loved, and we approved to use the mock up and our photo together for the oil painting. The final hand-painted oil artwork was stunning. Not only was the painting what we wanted, and with amazing resemblances, but our cats’ personalities were truly captured. Receiving the painting was emotional for both of us, and it now hangs at the center of attention in our living room - it means more to us than words can express.
